March Seed Starting
It's 4 weeks from April 1st! Time to sow summer heat loving seeds and transplant the plants started on 1/21 (10 Week Seeds) plants to the garden.
As the soil and air warms up, we can begin sowing more seeds directly into the garden. With that said, you can absolutely continue sowing seeds inside for added protection, and faster growth.

If you started seeds on 1/21 (10 Week Seeds):
3/1 Transplant into garden
If you started seeds on 2/18 (6 Week Seeds):
3/17 Seedlings should have true leaves
3/20 Begin acclimating to outside temperatures
3/24 Transplant into garden
Example timeline for seeds starts March 1 (4 Week Seeds):
3/1 Start seeds inside
3/11 Most seeds should be germinated
3/30 Seedlings should have true leaves
4/5 Begin acclimating to outside temperatures
4/14 Transplant into garden

Be sure we are free of frost before transplanting heat loving plants outside. We may need to keep them safe indoors for a bit longer than the example timeline. Some people prefer to wait until the first week of May to plant out tomatoes and peppers.
