February Seed Starting

This weekend marks 6 weeks until April 1st! Gather your seed starting supplies and let's grow 🌱

February brings the opportunity to direct sow seeds outside. Some plants, especially root vegetables, do best when their roots are not disturbed while growing. If you have extra seed, feel free to experiment with starting some indoor and some outside. Make note of your outcomes in your seed journal/calendar.

Starting another round of your favorite veg in the right hand column will allow you to extend your harvest times. Be mindful not to over plant, refer back to your garden plan for guidance. However, if you end up with too much of one crop, share with your neighbor!
